Week 10: Polishing

I can’t believe how fast time flies! I only have four weeks left to complete this project but I can thankfully say that I am feeling pretty good about the progress I have made so far. Thanks to the generous help of my professor, I was able to improve on my tornado and the debris flying around in the scene. Before, the debris felt like it was flickering and I realized the main reason was because my particles had a life expectancy of 2! It feels so obvious in hindsight, but I’m happy to have resolved it. I was advised to change the setup for my tornado and ended up making improvements on the lightning tool and the shape of the lightning overall, it is so satisfying to see the shot slowly come together!
